WhatsApp Business Account setup in Robofy is a guided way to connect a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and phone number to your project. You can use Meta Embedded Signup, follow the WhatsApp-number setup route, or find an existing number that is already available through WhatsApp Manager and claim it for the correct Robofy project.
Once connected, the account appears in the WABA dashboard, where you can review phone and account status, access API details, monitor messaging performance, and continue into templates, contacts, inbox conversations, campaigns, webhooks, and activity logs.
The best route depends on whether you are starting fresh, connecting through Meta, or recovering a number that already exists in WhatsApp Manager.

Use Meta Embedded Signup to sign in with Facebook and connect the required business assets in a Meta-hosted window. Select or create the appropriate business portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account, add the phone number, and return to Robofy after completing Meta's flow.
For number-led onboarding
Start with the WhatsApp number you want to use. Robofy guides you through the preparation steps, including number type, Meta messaging-cost awareness, business-verification documents, and the Meta connection required to complete onboarding.
You can choose a fresh number that is not currently used on WhatsApp or, where eligible, an existing WhatsApp Business app number.
For a number linked in WhatsApp Manager
Use this route when your business number already exists in WhatsApp Manager. First confirm that it is linked to your Meta business account, then Robofy can help you find and claim it for this project.
Open WhatsApp API in Robofy and select Start Production Setup or Connect New Number.
Choose the Meta Embedded Signup route. Robofy opens the Facebook connection step before launching Meta's guided window.
Sign in to Meta and select or create the business portfolio and WhatsApp Business Account you are authorized to use.
Provide the business number and complete the verification method offered by Meta. Follow the prompts for the business profile, display name, and permissions.

Review the notice that Meta charges separately for WhatsApp messaging. A valid payment method may be required in Meta before business-initiated conversations can be sent.
Have a company formation or tax-registration document and proof of business address available. Robofy does not collect these documents in this readiness step; Meta may request them during business verification.
Proceed to the Meta flow to connect the business portfolio, WABA, and phone number and complete the verification steps presented for the selected route.
Return to Robofy to review the connected number, account status, and any remaining actions required by Meta.
If a WhatsApp number already exists in the available Meta business environment but does not appear in your current Robofy project, use Find Existing Number instead of repeating the complete onboarding flow.
Enter the business phone number exactly as it appears in WhatsApp Manager. Robofy checks whether a matching account can be claimed for the current project. The lookup may continue in the background, so you can keep working and return when it completes.
Review the unclaimed numbers returned by the search. Select the correct number - or multiple eligible numbers - to add to the project. Numbers already connected to the current project are not offered as new claim candidates.
Open WhatsApp Manager and provide one identifier from the same account: its WABA ID, Business ID, or Phone Number ID. An ID from another account will not pass verification.
After the identifier matches, Robofy provisions the WABA for the project and adds the number to Connected Accounts. For multiple numbers, Robofy reports which claims succeeded and which require correction.
