White Label AI Agents for MSPs: Resell AI Support

Think about the last quarter of tickets at your service desk. A large share of them were probably the same dozen questions: how to reset access, where a form lives, what the opening hours are, who to call. Your technicians answered each one by hand. Your clients paid for that time.

A white label AI agent can take those first messages. It answers from the client’s own help content, collects the details your team needs, and passes the conversation on when a person should step in, all under your brand and billed inside the managed-services contract you already have.

Robofy makes the platform used here and publishes this article, so read the claims with that in mind. Every product fact links to the page that states it.

What the agent handles

It answers common questions from whatever content you give it: a help centre, website pages, PDFs, an FAQ list. It asks follow-up questions to get a ticket’s details right. If the client’s support system has an API, it can create the ticket and read back the reference number.

When it meets something it should not handle, it hands the conversation to a person. You describe those triggers in plain English, for example “the customer reports an outage” or “the customer is angry”. Your technician then sees the customer’s details and a summary, so nobody has to ask the same questions again. How human handoff works covers the options.

A word of caution on tickets. Creating one depends on the client’s system exposing an API. Robofy supports agent API actions and webhooks, but that does not mean your client’s service desk is already wired up. Test it on a real example before you put it in a quote.

Running many clients from one panel

The reseller panel is where an MSP will spend its time. For each client you create a license, and you can edit it, suspend it or delete it. You also set limits per client: how many agents, how many training resources and how many message credits it may use. The limits matter more than they sound, because without them one busy client can quietly eat the shared credit pool that every other client depends on.

Each client works in a separate workspace, so their agents and content stay apart. Your logo and colours are on it, and every paid reseller plan includes a custom domain. Clients sign in to your brand.

Reseller plan Annual bill Client licenses
Accelerator $799 10
Growth $999 15
Pro $1,099 20
Enterprise $1,199 Unlimited

Plans are billed yearly, in USD. The reseller pricing page is the place to check before you quote.

What security-minded clients ask

IT buyers ask about data before they ask about features, so have the answers in your sales pack. These come from Robofy’s own pages:

  • Robofy is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (certification page).
  • It is built around GDPR, and a data processing agreement is available on the DPA page.
  • Accounts are hosted in Europe (Ireland). AI requests go to the model providers, which are listed on the sub-processors page, so do not tell a client that everything stays in one region.
  • The trust centre describes encryption, signed webhooks and audit logs.

Send the DPA and the sub-processors list before the client asks. That saves a round of emails.

Connecting it to a client's systems

Website chat and WhatsApp are the main channels. WhatsApp integration and setup help come with every Robofy plan. Meta bills WhatsApp messaging separately, so say so in the quote.

Behind the agent, the options are API calls and webhooks. We do not list integrations with particular PSA or RMM tools here. Whether ConnectWise, Autotask or HaloPSA can do what you need depends on what each exposes, and we have not tested them. If a client runs one, try the action in a pilot first.

How to bill AI support

There are two ways that work. You can fold it into a higher managed-services tier, with a stated allowance of AI replies each month. Or you can sell it as an add-on: a setup fee plus a monthly fee on top of the existing contract. Bundling suits an MSP that wants a richer top tier and fewer invoices. The add-on suits one whose clients buy the service desk in very different sizes.

Whichever you pick, define what you are counting. One conversation can contain several AI replies, so write “AI replies per month” in the agreement. Settle the overage rule before launch: bill the extra, agree a top-up, or move the client up a tier.

To check the add-on pays for itself, divide your annual platform bill by the number of paying clients and add the hours you spend on setup and upkeep. The pricing guide has worked margin and break-even tables.

Rolling it out to the first three clients

Pick clients with a busy desk, or with no cover outside office hours. For each one:

  1. Find out who owns the help content and how often it changes.
  2. Collect the articles, FAQs and opening hours, plus the questions that reach the desk most.
  3. Build the agent and test the handover to your team.
  4. Add a ticket action only if the client’s system has an API, and try it with real examples.
  5. Run a two-week pilot and read the conversations. Fix the content gaps they show.
  6. Review it with the client using numbers you can count: conversations, handovers, tickets created.
  7. Move to a paid package and set up the monthly report.

You can build the first agent in the 14-day free trial before you buy a reseller plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can an MSP white label an AI support agent?

Yes. With Robofy’s reseller program you put your own brand and custom domain on the platform, create an agent for each client and set your own prices. Your clients see your brand while the AI runs on Robofy.

How do I keep each client’s data separate?

Each client has its own workspace in the reseller panel, with its own agents and content. You set per-client limits for agents, training resources and message credits, and you can suspend a license at any time.

Can the agent create or route tickets?

It can collect the details and hand the conversation to your team with a summary. It can create a ticket through the client’s support API if one exists. Check each client’s system before you promise it.

Is the platform ISO 27001 certified?

Yes, to ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The certification page and the DPA are linked above, and accounts are hosted in Europe (Ireland).

How should an MSP price AI support?

Either bundle it into a higher service tier or sell it as a setup fee plus a monthly add-on. Count AI replies, agree an overage rule, and check the margin against your annual platform bill and your own hours.

To see the panel with one of your own clients in it, book a demo and bring an example help desk.
